Hand AI a goal, not just a question
Over two weekly sessions you’ll learn the difference between chat, workflows and agents, how an agent works through a task and knows when to stop, and when an agent is worth using and when it isn’t. You write goals an agent can act on, connect tools safely, and turn a process from your own job into a reusable skill, then test it with colleagues who’ve never seen it.
Who it is for
Non-technical professionals who already use AI chat tools regularly and want to go further. New to prompting? Take the four-week Prompting Craft module first, then join the next Agents & Automation group. Already confident? Our short readiness check helps you decide.
How it runs
Live and taught by a real trainer on Microsoft Teams, on Wednesdays from 9:00 to about 15:05, in groups of up to 12. Plus 75 to 120 minutes of directed study a week, and a short handout the day before each session.
- Tell the difference between chat, a workflow and an agent, and pick the right one
- Write goals an agent can act on, with clear limits and a check-in point
- Connect tools safely, starting read-only
- Turn a process from your own job into a reusable skill
- Test your skill with colleagues who’ve never seen it
Prefer to learn in your own time? This is our live, trainer-led module. We also offer a separate self-paced course, Agentic AI (Agents & Automation), with nine modules you can work through whenever suits you. It’s coming soon, and you can register your interest on its page.
Two sessions, from chat to agents
Each session is hands-on, with worked examples, a live lab on your own work, and one thing to try at work before the next session.
From Chat to Agents
Chat, workflow or agent, the loop every agent follows, and writing a goal an agent can act on.
Your Personal AI Operating System
Context files, connecting tools read-only, and turning a routine task into a reusable skill.
From £495 per place
Next runs April 2027. Get in touch to reserve a place, or to ask about running the module in-house for your team.
All two live sessions, the workbook pages for the module and every exercise.
If you go on to the AI & Generative AI Practitioner Programme, what you’ve paid counts towards it.
Team and volume discounts: two places 5% off, three or four 10% off, five or more 15% off. Ask us about spreading the cost. Standalone modules don’t come with a certificate. Prices are per learner and are a guide; final quotes reflect group size, dates and any tailoring.
Good to know
Is this the same as the self-paced Agentic AI course?
No. This is a live module, taught by a trainer over two Wednesdays. The Agentic AI (Agents & Automation) course is separate and self-paced, so you work through it in your own time. Ask us if you’re not sure which suits you.
Do I need any experience?
You should be comfortable using an AI chat tool day to day. No coding is needed. If you’re new to prompting, the four-week Prompting Craft module, next running in February 2027, is the best place to start.
I already use AI a lot. Do I have to do Prompting Craft first?
Not if you’re already confident. Download our readiness check, which takes 20 to 30 minutes, and email it back to us. It isn’t a pass or fail test. We’ll tell you within two working days whether you’re ready to go straight in, whether a quick 15-minute chat would help, or whether Prompting Craft would be the better start. If you already have a prompt library you use at work, you can share three prompts from it instead.
When and where does it run?
The next run is in April 2027, on Wednesdays on Microsoft Teams, from 9:00 to about 15:05 with breaks and lunch. Exact dates are confirmed when you book.
How is this different from the full programme?
It’s Block E of the 18-session AI & Generative AI Practitioner Programme, offered on its own. You join the programme group for these two sessions. If you carry on to the full programme later, what you’ve paid counts towards it.
Do I need to pay for any AI tools?
No. Every exercise uses free versions of the tools, runs in a web browser and doesn’t need a credit card.
Will I have to put work information into AI tools?
No. Nothing confidential, personal or client-related goes into any tool. Where an exercise uses your own work, you anonymise it first, and we show you how.
Do I get a certificate?
Standalone modules don’t come with a certificate. If you go on to the full AI & Generative AI Practitioner Programme, the module counts towards it, and you get the programme certificate when you complete it.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel for a full refund up to 14 days before the module starts, or within 14 days of booking, whichever gives you longer. If you need to cancel after that, get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
